“I have been practicing physical therapy since 1992. My education has allowed me to successfully treat patients in variety of settings including wound management, cardiac rehab, work hardening and traditional rehab settings.
Over the years, I developed a passion for helping cancer patients and I pursued special training in lymphedema management as well as in treating other special needs of breast cancer survivors. It has been an honor help my patients restore their function and hope.
I really believe in treating the whole person and looking outside the box for the true origin of their pain. I live in Trenary where I enjoy all that life in the U.P. offers including skijoring, horseback riding and raising a family.”

“I was born and raised in the U.P. After graduating from the University of Michigan in 1989, I returned to the place I love to raise a family and work as a physical therapist. I enjoy working with people of all ages and individualizing their therapy to meet their needs and goals. Being a part of their recovery from injury or surgery to helping them return to every day activities they value is truly gratifying. There is nothing like seeing someone move better, feel better and smile again knowing that you were a part of their rehabilitation.
In my free time, I enjoy hiking, volleyball, skiing, traveling, playing cards, tossing bean bags and spending time with my family. ”

“Years of education and experience have provided me an understanding of medical sciences, exercise and manual therapy techniques. I stay attune to current evidence-based research and spend many hours receiving advanced training in spine care and orthopedic musculoskeletal conditions. Providing individualized care, promoting wellness and encouraging clients to live a healthy, active lifestyle is my goal. Physical therapy goes beyond the realm of clinical care; it is about treating the whole person.

I have enjoyed returning to my hometown community and spending time with the people who have always supported me. Outside of work I enjoy the outdoors, activities related to health and fitness, and spending time with family and friends, and my dog, Chloe.”

“My passion for helping others is why I chose to pursue a career as a physical therapist assistant. It is rewarding to be part of each patient’s journey as they work to return to their previous level of function. I try to express to patients the importance of overall health and wellness for optimal healing and general well-being.

After relocating from the Keweenaw Peninsula, I worked in outpatient orthopedic settings serving a multitude of clients ranging in age and injury. In my free time, I enjoy multiple outdoor activities, hunting, cooking, and spending time with my friends and family.”
